A Fabulous Success...
On Friday September 5th, David Coon, Provincial Green Party leader, visited Sackville. Eat Green from 4:00 to 7:00 pm outside the Green Office was a wonderful event. David Coon met and talked with Green supporters, as well as with curious residents who dropped by for more information about the Green Party's platform which was unveiled in Fredericton on September 3rd. Megan was on hand, chatting with everyone about her vision for a Green New Brunswick, and listening to the issues and concerns raised by concerned residents. We were pleased that so many young people, students at Mount Allison University, and families with children were there. We all munched on fresh local greens and spectacular desserts, and sipped mint-infused cold tea and cucumber tea to cool off in the hot sunny weather.
